St Giles Hospice is seeking a Retail Support Manager to cover stores in the Aldridge area and surrounding locations. You will support in the absence of management, working flexibly with local teams to deliver great service and sales results.
Ideally you have supervisory experience, can lead volunteers, and keep operations running smoothly to support hospice income. DBS checks may apply and full DBS disclosure may be required.

As Retail Support Manager for St Giles Hospice, you will support in providing cover to one or more stores, in the absence of the community shop management team. Cover is provided on a flexible and mutual agreeable basis. You’ll work within and for your local community ensuring that engagement and support is understood and promoted.
You will be sales focused, and you will understand why customer service is key and want to be part of a successful team. Ideally, you’ll have had previous supervisory experience, be able to demonstrate leadership and have the ability to work with and motivate any volunteer team.
Reporting into the Community Shop Managers (CSM) and working closely with the Retail Regional Manager you will aid in the efficient running of our stores in order that we deliver a positive financial contribution to the Hospice.
The estate includes 26 shops and e-commerce operation with a turnover of approx. £3.5 million which supports the overall income generation strategy.

Qualifications
· Good standard of education in English and Maths
Knowledge and experience
· Experience in using Office 365, email and internet
