Job summary

Musgrave Group Plc invites applications for the position of Supervisor / Centra Ballymagorry to support day-to-day store operations and lead colleagues to deliver exceptional service.

The successful candidate will manage store activities, support the store manager to maximise KPIs, ensure health and safety standards, and contribute to community engagement while working flexible shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a busy retail sales-based environment.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Proven experience in stock control, people skills, cost control and rota planning.
• Good knowledge of fresh food retail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operational running of the store and lead colleagues to deliver excellent service.
• Support the store manager to maximise store KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Environmental Health Standards.
• Manage the store in the absence of Store and Assistant Manager, including key holding.
• Act as an advocate of the company and model company values.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high store standards.
• Support stock take preparation and counting, and implement action plans to improve results.
• Train and manage team members; ensure the right people are in the right roles.
• Occasionally conduct return-to-work interviews and investigations in line with policy.
• Support local community and charity partners.
• Cover areas such as Post Office, deli, or other parts of the store when required.
