Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee front-line activities within a healthcare environment.

The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with rotating shifts, focusing on team leadership, customer service, and efficient store operations. You will manage deliveries, till transactions, rota planning, and stock control while upholding food handling and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week.
