Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of healthcare operations. This is a part-time role contracted to 30 hours per week with shifts 5 out of 7.

You will lead frontline staff, manage till operations, assist with weekly bookwork, and help maintain precise stock levels while upholding Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.
