Job summary

Barbour is seeking a Store Supervisor for our Livingston shop on a full-time, temporary basis. You will support the Store Manager, oversee staff, drive customer focus and help maximise store productivity and profitability.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, deliver world-class service, manage staff development, handle escalations, and maintain a safe, well-presented store environment on a fast-paced retail floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably high turnover environments.
• Strong leadership with ability to guide and motivate staff.
• Proven customer service focus and conflict handling skills.
• Capable of delegating tasks and coaching team members.
• Flexible hours and ability to adapt in a busy store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running the store daily to ensure staff meet standards.
• Manage performance and address staff issues.
• Model high levels of service and attention to detail.
• Delegate tasks and supervise training/coaching.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve escalations.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and clear communication.
