Job summary

Cancer Research UK’s Farnham shop is seeking a motivated Store Assistant to join the trading team. You’ll be the face of our charity, helping customers, supporting fundraising efforts, and delivering excellent service while hitting sales targets.

The role is part-time (7.5 hours per week) with a salary of £12.71 per hour plus benefits. You’ll work as part of a friendly team, take occasional keyholder duties, and contribute to our mission to beat cancer in the local community.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a busy customer service environment.
  • Able to manage workload and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
  • Flexibility to cover rota-based shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
  • Achieving sales and fundraising targets as part of the shop team.
  • Maintaining shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding and health and safety.
  • Building relationships with local community and CRUK colleagues.
  • Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
  • Occasional keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
