Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Stockroom Assistant to join our Retail team in the UK on a 32-hour contract. You will support stockroom operations, ensuring accuracy of stock levels and efficient replenishment to the shop floor.

You will work with an energetic team, helping maintain excellent store standards and delivering a great customer experience. Prior stock control or merchandising experience is desirable, with a warm, proactive attitude valued across our coastal brand.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar position.
• Awareness of stock control, monitoring stock levels and end-to-end management of deliveries, replenishment and stock takes.
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly inventory counts to keep stock levels accurate.
• Organise and maintain the stockroom for easy access to products.
• Verify incoming deliveries for quality and accuracy; restock items on the shop floor.
• Contribute to maintaining high store standards and smooth store operations.

Role

As a Stockroom Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our team by ensuring smooth and efficient stockroom operations. Your efforts will help drive the success of our brand, making a positive impact on our customers' experience!

We're looking for someone who's adaptable, proactive, and enjoys the process of stock management. You'll help maintain an organised and streamlined stockroom, which in turn supports faster, more efficient service on our shopfloor.

Your responsibilities will include conducting weekly inventory counts to keep stock levels accurate, organising and maintaining the stockroom for easy access to products, verifying incoming deliveries for quality and accuracy, and assisting with restocking items on the s shop floor.

Together, we'll work to make every aspect of our store run seamlessly and create an exceptional experience for our customers.
