Job summary

Barbour on Regent Street is seeking a Stock Assistant for a full-time, temporary period to support our partner stores. You will ensure stock is received, organised, replenished and delivered to the shop floor efficiently, maintaining a well-organised stockroom and responding quickly to sales floor needs.

In this role you will assist with deliveries, communicate stock priorities to the team, and help maintain brand presentation and stock accuracy during peak trading periods.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A reliable, flexible approach with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Replenish the shop floor promptly, ensuring sizes, colours and styles are readily available.
• Respond quickly to stock requests from the sales team during customer interactions.
• Maintain product availability across key departments with replenishment of bestsellers.
• Assist with deliveries and replenishment during peak trading periods, promotions and seasonal launches.
• Act as a runner between the stockroom and shop floor to support sales teams.
• Check incoming stock against documentation and report discrepancies.
