Job summary

Retail Asset Solutions is hiring Retail stock counters to join our mobile minibus teams across Hull. You will count stock using handheld scanners, travel between sites, and work variable shifts, including early mornings and nights. Prolonged standing and occasional use of equipment are required.

Shifts typically 3–4 per week, 8–12 hours each, with transport provided for some locations and access to Stream wage-advance benefits. No prior stock knowledge is mandatory; quick learners welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over and able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and nights.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to work long shifts on large counts.
• Ability to quickly learn new technology as procedures evolve.
• Stock handling experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Count stock quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Stand for extended periods during shifts and use equipment when needed.
• Travel to different retail customer sites; shift assignment varies.
• Support on 3–4 x 8–12 hour shifts per week when required.

Retail Asset Solutions are looking to take on Retail Stock Counters to join our already existing minibus teams!

The Company

The Role

• We are looking for Retail stock counters to add to our already successful team.
• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
• Typical working week will consist of 3-4 x 8-12hr shifts

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
