Job summary

C2 Recruitment Limited is seeking Retail stock counters for assignment across multiple UK stores in Stockton and surrounding areas. You will use handheld scanners to count stock accurately and travel between sites as shifts require.

Shifts are 8–12 hours, 3–4 per week, with early mornings or night work. Immediate start with access to wages via Stream from 3–7 days after shifts, plus free transport and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsociable hours including early mornings and nights.
• Must be 18+ and have a can-do attitude for long shifts.
• Quick learner to adapt to changing technology.
• Stock handling experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay

The Role

• We are looking for Retail stock counters to add to our already successful team.


• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.


• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.


• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock


• Typical working week will consist of 3-4 x 8-12hr shifts

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over


• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.


• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.


• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
