Job Description

  • Consistently preparing delicious, high quality food that exceeds client and customer expectations
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our food offering and service standards
  • Preparing the weekly menu for the restaurant, ensuring it reflects seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and innovation
  • Supporting with hospitality and evening events as needed, ensuring seamless and high quality experiences for clients and guests
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive kitchen environment where every team member feels welcomed, valued, and supported
  • Assisting the team in delivering our exciting and well loved food concepts to customers
  • Supporting with ordering, stock management, and driving initiatives to minimise food waste
  • Taking responsibility for maintaining high hygiene standards through regular kitchen cleaning and compliance
  • Contributing to effective budget management and helping the team meet financial targets
  • Ensuring full compliance with all Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations


Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution preferred.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, as required.
