Retail Store Manager

£26,784 - £31,459 plus benefits

Reports to: Area manager

Department: Trading

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Location: Kirkintilloch Shop

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of paid staff and volunteers, including recruitment, retention, and development.
• Oversee the commercial operations of the store, including merchandising, stock management, standards, layout, and income.
• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Maximize profit through effective cost control and sales strategies.
• Build relationships within the community and with colleagues.
• Organize and run creative fundraising events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, admin, and HR policies.
• Perform manual handling and physical activities as required.
