Summary

£14.95 - £15.45 per hour | 35 - 40 hour contract | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Enhanced family leave

As of the 1st of March 2026, our pay will be increasing to £15.45 - £15.95.

As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you'll help us maintain our high standards day after day. In return, we'll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

What you'll do

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
• Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
