Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to keep our store running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll lead the team, motivate staff, and take responsibility for daily operations while delivering an excellent customer experience.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate (£15.45–£15.95) with additional pay for bank holidays and night shifts, alongside a generous benefits package including holidays, discounts and family leave.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, aligning with Leadership and Company Principles.
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to maintain smooth operations.
• Create an environment where colleagues can succeed and grow.
• Manage store operations and cover leadership roles when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Oversee freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock to ensure shifts run smoothly.
• Provide customers with the best possible experience every visit.
