Job description

Retail Shift Leader

Salary: £30,943, increasing to £32,010 on completion of training. Plus, either a company car or car allowance.

Location: Newcastle

*Access to wages from 3 days after shift completion, immediate start, holiday pay*

As a Retail Stocktaking Shift Leader, you will manage teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering end-to-end stock taking services on our client's sites. The shifts vary, requiring flexible availability. You will need to travel to different client sites daily and may occasionally stay away from home.

Days: Monday - Sunday (up to 5 days in a 7-day pattern, with flexibility in working days if required)

Hours of Work: Evening/Night shifts

Person Specification:

  • Full Driving License
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Effective communication with all levels
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and stay focused
  • Manage time effectively and work independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Additional Notes:

  • Work involves prolonged standing, using step stools and ladders, and working in warehouses or large retail premises with high and ground level stock.
  • Working hours include early mornings or night shifts; applicants must be over 18.
