Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to lead a busy store and drive performance. You’ll motivate your team, oversee daily operations and ensure the shop floor runs smoothly while delivering a great customer experience.

The role includes shift leadership, problem solving, and responsibility for stock and cash processes in a fast-paced environment. You’ll receive a competitive hourly rate with bank holiday and night shift uplifts, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for progression

• Ability to delegate tasks and motivate your team.
• Patience and a friendly manner with calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, following Leadership and Company Principles.
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
• Create an environment where colleagues can succeed alongside you.
• Manage operations within the Store and in the absence of Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to keep shifts running smoothly.
• Deliver the best possible customer experience every visit to the store.
