Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting for a part-time Security Officer at ASDA, Merthyr. The role involves protecting property, people and assets and adhering to the site Assignment Instructions and changes.

You will work 22.5 hours weekly, primarily Thursday, Friday, Saturday 14:00-22:00, with focus on meeting KPIs and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. The position requires SIA license, previous security experience, and ideally SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is required.
• SIA license is required to perform the role.
• SC clearance desirable for preferred candidate.

Responsibilities

• Protect customers' property, people and assets as per site AI's and changes.
• Meet or exceed KPIs/SLAs to support contract retention.
• Complete required training for self-development.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal/regulatory requirements on site.
• Carry out all tasks defined in the Assignment Instructions on site.
