Kingdom Group is recruiting Retail Security Relief Officers for a Tesco partnership in Consett. The role involves patrolling, deterrence of theft, incident response, and accurate reporting within a modern retail environment.

The position offers flexible hours (0–48 hours per week) with weekly pay and an emphasis on reliability, communication, and professional conduct in a customer-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision required).
• Full 5-year checkable work history.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, confident, and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the store to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues
• Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitoring premises and responding to incidents
• Completing accurate reports and recording observations
• Working closely with Tesco staff and fellow officers
• Managing challenging situations calmly and professionally
