Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is recruiting a part-time security officer to work on-site at ASDA in Merthyr. 22.5 hours per week, pay rate £13.10 per hour, with responsibilities covering protection of property, people and assets, and adherence to site AI instructions.

The role requires an active front-line licence (SIA), compliance with UK law, and ongoing training. You will report to the Security Account Manager and support health and safety procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Previous Security Experience.
• SIA License.
• SC Clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Protect property, people and assets on site per Assignment Instructions and updates.
• Deliver results that meet KPIs and SLAs through accountable service.
• Complete required competency training and renew licences on time.
• Follow policies, safety requirements, and legal/regulatory obligations.
