Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Kingsbridge. You will help keep staff and visitors safe, patrol the premises, and monitor entrances and exits while responding to incidents.

Role requires an SIA license, a verifiable 5-year work history, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You must have your own vehicle and be available for 12:00–22:00 on Fridays & Saturdays and 10:00–16:00 on Sundays.

Qualifications

• SIA License required.
• Minimum 5 years of checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks and stay alert.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigate disturbances and monitor entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Deal with large crowds and maintain positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail security officer

Pay Rate – £13.10

Location – Kingsbridge

Shift Timings – 12:00-22:00 Fri & Sat 10:00-16:00 sun

Must have their own vehicle

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
