Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for Asda Shrewsbury to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a safe shopping environment. The role pays £13.10 per hour and requires you to work mornings, evenings and weekends, wearing full uniform and presenting a professional image.

You will perform store patrols, monitor CCTV, report incidents and liaise with store management and local police when needed.

Hours: Mornings, evenings and weekends

Location: Asda Shrewsbury

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Objectives And Responsibilities

• Work to the Assignment Instructions ensuring that all activity is accurately recorded on the correct documents, in line with both the Client's and the Company's Quality Procedures
• To follow the site-specific Risk Assessments ensuring all activities are completed in a safe manner
• Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of MITIE and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and clients
• To create a safe working environment, free from crime and health and safety related issues for colleagues, contractors and customers
• To add a polite greeting and excellent customer service
• Provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors and customers

Main Duties

• To deliver industry leading customer service
