Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect staff and customers while maintaining a safe, positive shopping experience.

You’ll provide a visible presence on the shop floor, deter theft, perform store patrols, operate CCTV, and work closely with store management and local policing partnerships.

Flexible shifts are discussed at interview; the role includes full induction and paid lunch breaks as part of a supportive, value-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training - we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)

• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
