Job Overview

Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer capable of delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment, free from crime for customers and colleagues. It is preferable that you hold a current SIA license or certificates (training for a license can be provided in some circumstances).

Vetting

A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is essential; failure to provide this may result in withdrawal of an offer or termination of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct store patrols
• Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management teams
• Coordinate with police and crime partnerships to foster effective relationships and reduce store crime
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and crime reduction
