Job Description:

Kingdom Services Group is a key partner to River Island. We have a great opportunity for an Enhanced Retail Security Officer to join our team.

Based at the Lakeside Store in Grays, you will receive first-class training, enabling you to become a Security Brand Ambassador for Kingdom Security, while protecting and supporting the customer journey and shopping experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer looking to develop their career with an industry-leading Security Service Provider.

Location: Lakeside Shopping Centre, Grays, RM20 area

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Approximately 54 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:00-20:00, Friday 11:00-21:00, Saturday 10:00-21:00, Sunday 11:00-17:00.

Salary: £13.50 per hour

About the role:

• First point of contact for Kingdom Security officers in store
• Working closely with local police and crime hubs to gather intel on shoplifters
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment through patrols and monitoring
• Providing visible deterrence within the store
• Completing reports on observations, incidents, and surveillance
• Collaborating with team members to meet customer requirements
• Handling difficult situations professionally and safely

About you:

• Minimum of 12 months experience, preferably in Retail Security
• Valid SIA DS Licence
• Ability to manage conflicts professionally
• Knowledge of A.S.C.O.N.E and PACE
• Full five-year checkable employment history
