Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Retail Sales Merchandiser to support stores in Sutton-in-Ashfield with 7 hours per week. You will merchandise products, manage stock deliveries, and uphold housekeeping standards while assisting with promotions.

Role requires a customer-focused, friendly and proactive attitude. A driving licence and access to a smartphone are essential as we use multiple apps for store processes. Start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing setting is preferred.
• Sales or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to an Apple or Android smartphone with OS versions Android 8.1+/iOS 13.4+.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
• Unpack and set up deliveries of new stock.

Job description

Role Title - Retail Sales Merchandiser - Sutton in Ashfield - 7 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift pattern - 3.5 Monday & 3.5 Friday

Working hours: The required start time for this role is between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Sutton in Ashfield butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role

You will need to customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines
• Putting out deliveries of new stock
• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Setting up promotional activities
• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the operating systems of eitherAndroid 8.1 or later OR Apple IOS is 13.4 or later
