Base pay range

Position: Retail Sales Assistant - POP-UP SHOP FOR GOLF TOURNAMENT

Position: Retail Sales Assistant - POP-UP SHOP FOR GOLF TOURNAMENT

Location: JCB Golf & Country Club ST14 5HY

Salary: £15.00 per hour plus travel contribution

Contract: Temporary - 21st to 28th July (Full-Time Hours)

Must Have: Retail experience required. A general interest in sports is essential - golf knowledge is a bonus.

About Us:

We’re teaming up with one of the UK’s most prestigious golf tournaments to launch a high-energy pop-up retail experience this July.

This isn’t your average temporary gig—our event shop will serve hundreds of golf fans daily, offering premium merchandise, event exclusives, and more. If you’re looking to work in an exciting live sports environment, this is your chance to get involved.

About You:

Sports Enthusiast: A genuine interest in sport is a must—if you're into golf, even better!

Customer Experience Champion: You’ve worked in retail or customer service and know how to create a welcoming, upbeat shopping experience that keeps people engaged and excited.

Physically Fit: You’ll be handling stock and setting up displays, so being comfortable lifting and moving boxes is key.

Sales Focused: You understand how to turn browsers into buyers and help hit daily sales goals with confidence and energy.

Team Player: You thrive in fast-paced environments, support your teammates, and help create a fun and productive workspace.

Adaptable: You’re reliable, punctual, and comfortable with slight variations in daily shift times (approx. 9am-6pm, 9-hour shifts).

The Role:

Customer Engagement: Create a welcoming environment for fans and shoppers, while representing the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Product Knowledge: Get familiar with the merchandise quickly and help customers find what they’re looking for.

Drive Sales: Use your product knowledge and people skills to maximise sales and ensure everyone walks away with something great.

Stock Support: Help with receiving and organising deliveries, setting up displays, and restocking throughout the day.

Teamwork: Collaborate with your fellow team members to make the pop-up shop a success.
