Bayne's the Family Bakers in Methilhill is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant for a 9-month FTC. You’ll work 30 hours weekly across varied shifts, including weekends, with pay up to £12.93 per hour. The role involves serving bakery and food-to-go items, handling payments, and keeping displays tidy.

You’ll need strong communication, a positive attitude, and cash handling experience. Training on tills will be provided and benefits include staff discounts and in-shop perks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve customers with a range of hot and cold bakery and food to go products.
• Set up and maintain counter and window displays in line with our guidelines.
• Deal with customer pre-orders and process payment and paperwork accordingly.
• Take payment for goods using electronic tills and processing by cash and card.
• Stock shelves with products.
• Answer queries from customers.
• Give advice and guidance on products to customers.
• Report discrepancies and problems to the management team.
• Cleaning of shop & facilities.

Retail Sales Assistant - MethilhillShop, KY8 3HR

FTC 9 months

You will be given various shifts - which will change week to week and will include weekends (when rostered on), between 430am and 5pm - any 5 days from 7.

30 hours per week (although additional hours may be available).

Up to £12.93per hour plus an excellent benefits package (see below)*

You will be required to be flexible with your hours, you will need to be available to work between Monday to Sunday any 5 days from 7.
