Job summary

Charles Tyrwhitt is opening a brand new store in St Albans this November 2026. We are hiring Sales Assistants for a 20-hour per week role with weekend availability and some weekday shifts, including Bank Holidays.

You will deliver exceptional customer service and help maximise sales and KPIs, with product knowledge and selling skills to stay up-to-date with ranges and promotions. You’ll also perform stock tasks, maintain VM standards, and ensure store housekeeping compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or hospitality with a focus on customer service.
• High levels of enthusiasm, drive, and motivation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently alone while contributing positively to a team.
• Rapport with customers and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Perform stock-related tasks: stock checks, replenishment, deliveries.
• Maintain high visual merchandising and store housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to VM and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales team to support store success.
