Job summary

JG Foods t/a Grape Tree Limited in Exeter is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Assistant for 10 hours per week. You will deliver fast, friendly service, keep shelves stocked, operate the till, and maintain store hygiene. Flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday is required, with experience in food retail a plus.

The role offers regular customers and a friendly team atmosphere in a busy convenience store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service, ideally with experience in food retail.
• Organised & practically minded, be able to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in!

Responsibilities

• Operate the till in accordance with the company instructions and as directed by the manager.
• Provide the highest possible standard of customer service.
• Ensure that the shelves are well filled/stocked and faced up at all times.
• Assist with the maintenance of high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety throughout the store.
• Observe company rules at all times and report any breach of company rules witnessed.
• Co-operate with all colleagues ensuring the smooth running of the store.
