Customer Service Advisor - Asda Travel Money, Wakefield - Part Time

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time

Hours per week: 10 hrs

Salary: £13 hour + On Target Earnings up to 7.5% of base salary

Working Patterns: This job is perfect for those who are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts between Monday to Sunday. Depending on your team, you will receive a monthly or weekly Rota.

About the Role:

As an integral part of the ASDA Travel Money Team, you'll support customers with their Travel Money needs, from currency exchange to related products, offering competitive rates. Whether in-store or online, our goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free travel experience for customers heading to Europe, the USA, or elsewhere.

What will you be doing?

• Nurturing relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency requirements and tailoring their experience accordingly.
• Establishing yourself as a travel money ambassador and trusted advisor, providing support and advice on Travelex products and services.
• Processing foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Meeting key performance goals related to procedures, operations, and customer service.
• Handling online FX requests and deliveries with attention to detail.
• Adhering to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.

What do I need to have?

• Numerical proficiency, as you'll handle large sums of cash and currency conversions daily.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and listen effectively.
• A drive to succeed, with a passion for making a positive impact and providing excellent service.

Interview Process:

1. Initial screening call with Talent Acquisition or Bureau Manager.
2. Online interview with a numerical and accuracy test.
3. Visit to the bureau for a face-to-face meeting and environment overview.
4. Job offer pending successful background checks and references.
