Job summary

YOURS in Gillingham is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Assistant to welcome customers and promote our fashion range. You will help customers, process transactions, and keep the store stocked and tidy.

Join a lively team and deliver high standards of service while working flexible hours, including peak periods. Prior experience in fashion retail and strong communication are preferred.

KEY DUTIES:

• Optimise sales and individual customer purchases
• Engage the customer by delivering a first class customer service
• Operate till and handle financial transactions
• Replenish stock with our fantastic products and specialist brands
• Assist with deliveries and stock handling on a regular basis - we are busy!
• Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures
• Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement
• Responsible for Health and Safety

The contracted hours stated above are a minimum guaranteed number of weekly hours but there is an expectation to work more hours and flexibly is required especially during peak trading periods

Pay Rates: £12.90 per hour regardless of age
