Customer Service Advisor - Asda Travel Money, Cumbernauld - Part Time

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time

Hours per week: 16 hrs

Salary: £13 per hour + On Target Earnings up to 7.5% of base salary

Working Patterns: This job is suitable for those who are flexible and able to work various shifts between Monday and Sunday. You will receive a monthly or weekly rota depending on your team.

About the Role

As part of the ASDA Travel Money Team, you will support customers with their Travel Money needs, providing great rates and services whether in-store or online. You will help customers with foreign exchange transactions, offering advice, and ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency needs and tailor their experience
• Act as a travel money ambassador, providing support and advice on Travelex products and services
• Accurately and efficiently process foreign exchange transactions
• Meet procedural, operational, and customer-focused performance goals
• Handle online FX requests and deliveries with attention to detail
• Adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards

Requirements

• Numerically proficient, comfortable handling large sums of cash and currency conversions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and listen effectively
• Driven to succeed, with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference

Interview Process

• Initial screening call with Talent Acquisition or Bureau Manager
• Online interview including a role overview and a numerical test
• Visit to the bureau to meet the manager and see the environment
• Job offer upon successful completion, with reference checks and support throughout
