Job summary

Superdrug is recruiting an Apprentice Sales Assistant to join our Newport Pagnall store. You’ll learn on the job over 12 months, gain hands-on experience serving customers, stocking shelves and promoting exclusive offers. Training leads to a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship with strong support from the team.

You’ll work 39 hours per week at £9.75 per hour, with flexible shifts. The role includes extensive training, store targets, and opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• Customer service mindset and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and promote Star Buys.
• Keep store shelves stocked and presentable to customers.
• Help the team smash store targets and deliver excellent service.
• Participate in training and progress toward Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Be supported by mentors and tutors throughout the program.
