A leading media company is seeking a Part Time Retail Merchandiser for maternity cover. The role involves visiting retail outlets, ensuring newspapers are displayed effectively, and engaging with customers. Ideal candidates will have merchandising experience and a positive attitude. A driving license is preferred, with pool vehicles available for store visits.
Part Time Retail Merchandiser (Maternity Cover)
28 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Newsquest Media Group is looking for a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join the Midlands team and play a crucial role in its newspaper sales activity.
Key Responsibilities
The job itself will mostly involve visiting retail outlets covering Worcester, Gloucester and surrounding towns, ensuring our newspapers are in the best position, increasing point of sale and running promotions in retail stores, in a nutshell, making sure everything is looking good, and customers can see the local newspaper in their local store.
If you’ve got experience in merchandising and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
You will need to know your way around a laptop, for things like receiving briefs and uploading pictures, but none of it is complicated.
Ideally, you will have a full driving licence and use of your car (insured for business use), however, we can also provide a pool vehicle for store visits.

The role offers a salary of £17,850.56 per annum (£12.26 per hour), 25 days' holiday pro rata and a company pension scheme, as well as a suite of perks and benefits as part of our Newsquest Rewards Platform.
