Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Morrisons Newtown in the SY16 3AH area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role involves work across various categories including general merchandising, which could include books, gift cards, and cosmetics.

Confirmed working days/hours: 5 hours

Mondays 8:30am - 11:00am

Thursdays 8:30am - 11:00am

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

• Compliance and Standards: You'll know and adhere to merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers effectively.
• Strong communication and relationship building: You'll build and maintain good relationships with in-store colleagues, especially department and store managers. You'll also provide timely feedback to our client teams via our feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Ability to work independently within set timeframes, using initiative to find solutions
• Pride in delivering high standards and service for our clients
• Willingness to do manual handling, moving and arranging products from warehouse to shopfloor
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra)
• Comfortable using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car are required
