Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is assisting a national Facilities Management client to recruit an In Store Cleaning Manager for a Gloucester Quays supermarket. The role heads a team of up to 30 cleaners, ensuring high standards of hygiene and service delivery within a fast-paced distribution retail setting.

You will liaise with the on-site client, manage budgets and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across cleaning operations while adhering to Health & Safety guidelines. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• FM experience across Soft Services, ideally retail environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience of managing a team.
• Proficient using IT / Microsoft programmes (Outlook & Excel).
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH legislation.
• Know-how of Data Protection Act and confidentiality.
• Commitment to equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate company values and lead by example while on-site.
• Act as the interface between on-site client and contracted service providers daily.
• Monitor and report on service level agreements and KPIs, internal and external.
• Track finances to ensure services stay within budgets and service levels.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and engagement.
• Oversee audits and compliance plans to maintain safety standards and regulatory status.
• Maintain customer relationships and deliver on client expectations within specifications.
• Manage staff performance in conjunction with HR, including development or corrective actions.
