Job summary

Optio Resourcing is seeking a Project Manager to deliver high-profile retail fit-out schemes from Manchester. You will manage the full project lifecycle, lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong client-facing communication, leadership and a proven track record on retail projects, with essential SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid qualifications and a UK driving licence. A competitive package includes a car element and pension.

Qualifications

• PM experience in retail fit-out, shopfitting or commercial interiors.
• Proven ability to deliver live-environment and new-build stores.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
• Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle management of retail fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-start to handover.
• Manage programme, budget, quality and HSE across multiple live projects.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver on time and within budget.
• Act as main client contact, attend progress meetings and produce reports.
• Oversee variations, cost control and financial reporting with the commercial team.
• Ensure CDM regulations and company H&S procedures are followed.
