Job summary

Optio Resourcing is partnering with a leading retail fit-out contractor to recruit a Project Manager to deliver high-profile retail projects around Derby and the surrounding area. You''ll oversee the full lifecycle from pre-start to handover, coordinating site teams and the supply chain while acting as the main client contact.

The role requires proven retail fit-out PM experience, strong leadership and budget control, plus SMSTS/CSCS and First Aid.

Qualifications

Proven Project Manager experience within retail fit-out, shopfitting or commercial interiors.
Strong track record of delivering live-environment and new-build store projects.
Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills.
Commercially aware, with experience managing project budgets.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential).
Relevant degree or construction qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

Full project lifecycle management of retail fit-out and refurbishment schemes, from pre-start through to handover.
Managing programme, budget, quality and health and safety across multiple live projects.
Leading site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver on time and within budget.
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, attending progress meetings and producing reports.
Overseeing variations, cost control and financial reporting alongside the commercial team.
Ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations and company H&S procedures.
