Job summary

Career Moves Group is assisting a London-based retailer in recruiting a Distribution Channel Specialist for retail marketing and e-commerce. The role is a 12-month contract based in London with hybrid work (3 days onsite), 40 hours weekly, at £44/hour PAYE plus a 15% company bonus.

You will manage 6–7 long-tail accounts, coordinate marketing activities and analyse data to drive product awareness and sales across UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Around 5–7 years’ experience in retail marketing, e-commerce, channel sales, distribution, account management, trade marketing or sales operations.
• Experience supporting retail partners and coordinating marketing or promotional activity.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into useful business recommendations.
• Commercial awareness and experience tracking budgets, ideally including co-op or MDF activity.
• Strong organisation and programme coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day retail partner relationships, including queries, onboarding, product and pricing information, and general commercial support.
• Coordinate online and in-store marketing, product launches, seasonal promotions, co-marketing campaigns and demo programmes.
• Keep partners up to date with product, merchandising, pricing and go-to-market materials.
• Track promotional and co-op budgets, raise purchase requests, follow up on invoices and flag risks or variances.
• Report on account performance, sell-in and sell-through, campaign effectiveness and marketing ROI.
• Turn sales and marketing data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Help prepare business reviews, partner meetings, quarterly plans, forecasts, pricing proposals and promotional plans.
• Coordinate internal processes, follow up on actions and identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
• Monitor retail trends, competitor activity and partner feedback across UK and European markets.
