Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Data Migration Engineer to join a major retail-focused transformation programme on a contract basis, outside IR35. You will lead data extraction, transformation, validation and migration across legacy and new platforms, ensuring data quality and reconciliation.

The role requires strong SQL, relational databases, ETL and Python experience, with exposure to data warehouses, APIs/JSON, and retail data domains such as sales, stock and CRM.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data integration experience in retail projects.
• Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and data quality frameworks.
• Ability to map legacy data to target structures and reconcile migrated data.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, validate and migrate data across legacy and new systems.
• Map source data to target schemas and support migration testing.
• Investigate data discrepancies and ensure reconciliation.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
