Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is hiring for store roles across its network, focusing on friendly, customer-centric service and a willingness to assist across departments. You’ll help stock shelves, assist customers, and use digital tools to improve the shopping experience.

Flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to learning are essential as you support store operations during peak periods and festive surges. Opportunities exist for permanent and fixed-term roles across locations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work across store areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service.
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that's filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products.
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience.
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location.
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers.
• A committed team player, always willing to support colleagues and work together.
• Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges.
• Open to learning, developing and trying new things to improve our service.
• Confident learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly.
• Take pride and ownership in your work, including close attention to detail, maintaining a clean and tidy work space and always looking for ways to make our customer experience better
