Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Customer Assistant to support store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. This role covers a 16-24 hour contract with AM & PM shifts, including weekends.

The package includes holiday entitlement and a 10% in-store discount, plus pension and other perks. Bank holidays attract a £2.00 hourly uplift and nights £3.50 extra, with opportunities to progress into specialist areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible with shifts, including early mornings and late evenings.

Responsibilities

• Be a Lidl expert, helping customers with questions and requests.
• Efficiently handle deliveries as they arrive in store.
• Provide excellent customer service consistently.
• Keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods.
• Merchandise and maintain middle aisles of Non-Food products.
