Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Cover Supervisor to join the team in our Northampton store. As a Retail Cover Supervisor, you will support other stores as required, including Northampton, Corby, Western Favell, Milton Keynes, and Bedford.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to 13.41 per hour plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission. Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position, contracted for up to 40 hours per week. Candidates with a full UK driving license are preferred due to store coverage needs.

Ideal candidates have energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment. You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, leadership skills, stamina, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. Previous retail and supervisory experience is preferred.

Key activities include:

1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
2. Open & close stores, including cashing up and administrative duties.
3. Provide excellent customer service with strong product knowledge.
4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
6. Support team members as needed.
7. Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.
8. Process stock deliveries and transfers.
9. Handle customer queries and complaints.

Personal characteristics:

• Ability to follow management instructions for additional tasks.
• Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.

Salary/Pay: up to 13.41 per hour plus non-contractual sales commission.
