Job summary

Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) is required in the Midlands to perform planned and reactive maintenance across retail stores. You will service and repair boilers, AHUs, FCUs, fans and pumps, and carry out minor modifications as needed, including site visits in Birmingham, Telford and Leominster.

The role requires ACS Commercial Gas qualifications and a Level 3 HVCA/HVAC qualification, with a 1:4 on-call rota, full driving license and experience with a PDA system.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent qualification.
• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum.
• Full driving licence and willingness to be on-call.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Service and repair boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs and FCUs.
• Carry out minor alterations and installations within competence.
• Order spares and advise on suitable replacements when needed.
