At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based at Sainsbury's Heyford Hill store on a permanent basis. The role offers 36 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and here at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6 day working weeks. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• 36 Hours
• Sunday: 00:00 - 06:00
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: 00:00 - 06:00
• Wednesday: 00:00 - 06:00
• Thursday: 00:00 - 06:00
• Friday: 00:00 - 06:00
• Saturday: 00:00 - 06:00

There is also an opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies inside the store
• Cleaning trolley bays outside, removing leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Full training will be provided by Arcus.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.

Please note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App, which we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
