Job summary

Savills Company in Harrow is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to help ensure the safe, welcoming operation of the shopping centre. You will patrol the mall, service corridors and perimeter, handle enquiries, monitor CCTV, and supervise contractor traffic in line with site procedures.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA Public Space Surveillance CCTV license, be able to work flexible shifts (including weekends/evenings), and demonstrate strong customer service and incident reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Security Licence and, where required, a CCTV licence.
• Proven experience delivering security services in busy public environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/evenings.
• Ability to patrol and monitor Centre interiors, service corridors and perimeter.

Responsibilities

• Work shifts as scheduled (4 days on, 2 days off pattern) including early, day and night hours.
• Conduct regular patrols of the centre and respond to incidents as directed by Centre Manager.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and Fire Safety Orders.
• Manage contractors and deliveries per site procedures and report incidents.
• Assist with public enquiries and maintain a safe, secure environment.
