Retail Catering Manager

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Permanent

ISS is looking for a Retail Catering Manager to lead the catering operation within a hospital setting. This role focuses on driving performance and service levels of the retail catering operation, emphasizing high standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage staffing and competence levels across the food service
• Maintain accurate records for systems, including costings, sickness, quality, training, and staff performance
• Liaise with management through reviews, meetings, and investigations
• Supervise, train, motivate, discipline, and ensure staff welfare
• Organize staff to meet work schedules and quality standards
• Plan, coordinate, and order food based on data and menu cycles
• Order and control food, uniforms, equipment, and materials
• Deliver job-related training to meet staff needs and ensure competence

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications:

• Experience of running a quality contract catering account
• Willing to undertake challenges and grow with the account
