Job summary

HSBC UK is offering a five-year apprenticeship in Retail Banking and Wealth, combining classroom learning with hands-on experience across branches, contact centres and head office teams. You’ll gain a BSc (Hons) in Applied Retail and Commercial Banking with the University of Exeter, plus structured training, mentoring and four placements aligned to HSBC UK’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Be available to work full-time from November 2027 for 50 months.
• Have obtained 5 or more GCSEs at grade 4/C or higher.
• Have obtained or expected to obtain a minimum of BCC across top 3 A-levels or equivalent.
• Be fluent in English.
• Have been a resident in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years before start and have Right to Work in the UK for full duration.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams across Retail Banking to improve customer journeys and digital banking.
• Support Projects linked to service, growth and customer experience.
• Prepare presentations for senior leaders when required.
• Use curiosity and teamwork to translate insights into practical actions.
