Job summary

Primark Chesterfield is hiring a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term contract. You will work part-time hours, with varied shifts including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

Join a team focused on delivering great fashion at affordable prices and supporting customers with their needs. You'll help keep the store looking inviting, process till transactions efficiently, and assist with deliveries and price checks.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused approach with a friendly and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an amazing in-store experience and assist with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• Maintain an appealing shop floor, tidy fitting rooms and well-priced products on shelves.
• Deliver fast, friendly till service and handle queries, voids and returns.
• Receive, unpack and price new deliveries, ensuring products are correctly displayed and updated.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Employment type: Fixed term contract (End date: 02/01/2027)

Job type: Part time only

Contracted hours: 08-12 Hours per week

Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings on weekends only - all will be discussed at interview.

What you'll do

As a Retail Assistant you'll be making customer's day, every day. Here's a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
