Job summary

Primark Chesterfield is seeking a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term, part-time basis. The role offers varied shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings on weekends) with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour and contracted hours of 08-12 per week.

Applicants should be aged 18+, have right to work in the UK, and be able to work within the stated hours. The contract ends on 02/01/2027, and there are opportunities for discounts and progression as part of Primark’s benefits package.

Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings on weekends only – all will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
